Hymas Family Farm, located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, strives to practice organic and regenerative practices always—no vaccines, hormones, steroids, etc. By feeding organic feed and regularly rotating livestock, we have found additional treatments are rarely needed. If necessary, we use natural remedies such as apple cider vinegar and homeopathy. Our livestock are healthy and happy, and our guts can tell the difference. We have been in business for over four years and have received great feedback from customers. RAW MILK DAIRY is available to our milk club members, with extra milk available at our farm store and at Homestead Produce, with another location in Sandpoint expected to open soon. Dairy cows are rotated regularly on spray- and chemical-free pastures and supplemented in winter with hay from organically managed spray-free and chemical-free hay fields. We do offer milking cows certified organic peas in the milking stanchion, plus a very small amount of organic barley for maybe a couple weeks each year when it is super cold, and body conditions merit it.
