Temple Farm — pasture-raised beef producer in Millbrook, New York
The farm

In their words.

Temple Farm raises a small herd of Devon beef cattle, a heritage breed which thrives on a diet of grass alone. We rotationally graze our herd throughout the grazing season, and feed hay from our own pastures throughout the winter. We use no chemicals or fertilizers on our land, and feed no grain whatsoever. Our beef is available in cuts now. We can accept ordered for quarters or halves at certain times of the year. You can also find our beef at the fabulous Red Devon Market & Restaurant in Bangall, NY. (This was once a steakhouse owned by James Cagney, but is now a local, sustainable and seasonal establishment, featuring pastured products from Dutchess and Columbia counties.) Please call us to place an order which can be picked up from our farm or, in certain cases, we can deliver to you.

Editor’s note

Temple Farm lists grass-fed and pasture-raised on their public-facing materials. These are the producer’s own claims; we do not independently audit them.
