Misty Mountain Farm is 160 acres of rolling hills in Calhoun County, WV. Purchased as a 100-year-old rundown homestead, we are slowly restoring our land naturally. Through rotational grazing of our Dexter cattle, Gloucestershire Old Spots Pigs, and pastured chickens and turkeys, we hope to bring balance and fertility back to our pastures. Broilers are available beginning in June and until early fall. A limited number of turkeys are raised for Thanksgiving. Our beef is from Dexter cattle and Dexter crosses, 100% grass fed/finished beef is offered by the side or whole. We also offer finished pork by the side or whole in the fall and spring from our heritage GOS Pigs who are raised outside on grass. None of our animals are given antibiotics or hormones and our poultry and pigs are not fed GMO grains. Since we are a small and still growing farm, we advise you to call or e-mail to see what we have currently available, or to schedule a visit. We do not ship at this time. Poultry is for on-farm pickup; beef and pork is delivered to the butcher for you to pick up after being cut to your specifications. We invite you to come grow with us!
