Located in beautiful, bountiful Southern Monterey County, CA, these Angus cross cattle are raised in a natural, free-range environment. They are always treated humanely and never given antibiotics, growth hormones or subjected to pesticides or herbicides. We offer 3 options to purchase this healthy beef: The Sampler (about 41 pounds), 1/4 Share (about 91 pounds) or 1/2 Share (about 182 pounds). Your search for a responsibly raised source of protein will be rewarded with a purchase from Casey Redtail Ranch. Our cattle are born and raised here on local pastures and grow and mature at a natural pace. Managed in a holistic, sustainable manner, they live in harmony with nature – we utilize grazing strategies that promote moisture retention, forage health and wildlife habitat protection. When ready, cattle are harvested in a USDA inspected and certified facility. Each cut is carefully labeled, vacuum packed, dry aged and frozen. We take orders online, reserving your delicious beef ahead of time, so that we only harvest what is needed, when it is needed. This also ensures the highest quality and freshness.
