Bendy Brook Farm — pasture-raised beef producer in Oley, Pennsylvania
The farm

In their words.

Bendy Brook Farm is a family-owned farm located in the historic Oley Valley. We offer 100% grass-fed BEEF and GOAT, as well as pastured CHICKEN, TURKEY, and EGGS. Our land has been chemical-free for over 25 years, and although it is no longer certified organic, we have continued the same organic practices: no pesticides or fertilizers, and no hormones or antibiotics for the animals. Our Angus/Red Devon calves are born in the spring as nature intended and raised in the pasture with their mothers. They eat a healthy diet of grass and hay all year long and are never fed grain. We have steaks, roasts, ribs, chipped steak, cubed steak as well as 1-pound packs of ground beef in stock. We also offer more unusual cuts like tongue, heart, liver and bones to make excellent, nutritious beef stock. Our laying hens, broilers, and turkeys are pastured – their pens are moved every day to keep them on fresh grass – and are fed SOY-FREE, organically raised grain. We have whole birds, boneless/skinless breasts, legs and thighs, and wings, as well as bones for making broth. No shipping available, and please give a call for prices and availability.

Editor’s note

Bendy Brook Farm carries third-party certification: USDA Organic. Those bodies maintain public producer rosters that this listing has been cross-referenced against.
