In their words.
The Reed Ranch was established in 1947, on the plains of east central Wyoming at the edge of the Thunder Basin National Grasslands. The family is now in its fourth generation of ranchers, and our natural (no hormones, no antibiotics) grass-fed and finished BEEF graze on our Audubon certified Bird-Friendly ranch. We have been certified by the Audubon Conservation Ranching Program since 2018 and continue the certification process each year. Our management and grazing styles increase production and maintain a healthy land. Together they benefit livestock, wildlife (especially birds), and people, and we do rotational grazing to keep our land the best possible forage for our beef. "From our pasture to your plate” is a slogan we believe in. We offer whole beef, halves, quarters, or individual cuts. We deliver to natural foods stores and to direct customers. Our website shares the history of our ranch, allows you to order online, and lets you know where and when we deliver.
Reed Ranch lists grass-fed, no antibiotics, and no hormones on their public-facing materials. These are the producer’s own claims; we do not independently audit them.
