Pasture Nectar Farm — pasture-raised beef producer in Mount Vernon, Missouri
The farm

In their words.

Pasture Nectar Farm is located in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. Our primary product is grass. Our grass gets harvested by some lucky cows, poultry, and sheep, and they turn it into lots of delectable things – the nectar: milk, cream, eggs, meat. Our Shorthorn cows produce excellent meat, milk and cream for your family. They eat fresh grass and clover from our rotated chemical-free pastures during the growing season, and hay in the winter—never steroids, hormones, or animal by-products. In the parlor, they enjoy a non-GMO ration, 3 to 4 lbs or less, but enough to give them the extra calories they need while producing milk. Raw milk is sold in half-gallon glass jars. You are welcome to visit our squeaky-clean dairy parlor anytime. We offer USDA-inspected 100% grass-fed beef year-round. You can buy individual cuts any time (while quantities last) or order by the whole, half, or quarter beef. Our meat animals are 100% grass-fed. Pastured lamb is available in whole, half or individual cuts, and is USDA-inspected. Our free-range, out-on-the-pasture hens turn our grass and bugs into delicious, omega-3 eggs. If you haven’t tried grass-based local food before, you will be amazed at the d…
