In their words.
North Prairie Ranch raises grass-fed and grass-finished BEEFon our family ranch in Doty, WA. We practice rotational grazing in the spring, summer and fall and the cattle eat grass hay during the winter months. We believe in raising natural beef in a low stress environment. We do not use antibiotics or hormones on our cattle and do not use pesticides or herbicides on our ranch. Our herd is mostly black Angus, with a handful having influence from other beef breeds such as Hereford and Braunvieh. Our goal is to provide a local source of sustainable grass-fed beef raised in a humane and caring manner, while also being good stewards of the land. We are always working to incorporate regenerative practices to improve our soils and enhance the biodiversity of the ranch’s ecosystem. Our beef is available direct to consumer as half or whole beef shares. We work with local butchers who can cut and wrap the meat to your preference. We have several harvest dates available in the summer and fall of 2026. Please contact us via phone or email for pricing and reservations.
North Prairie Ranch lists grass-fed, grass-finished, and regenerative on their public-facing materials. These are the producer’s own claims; we do not independently audit them.
