The farm

In their words.

Landmark Harvest, based in south central Colorado, provides the consumer with wholesome, beyond-organic, land-improving natural foods. Good for You. Animals from the Landmark BEEF herd are raised as nature intended—grown slowly and finished on pasture and rangeland grazing forages. This produces naturally healthy food that is tender, flavorful, and high in omega 3 fatty acids, beta carotene, and CLA. Low-stress animal handling techniques and aging the beef add to the tenderness. Good for the Livestock. Landmark Beef are handled with respect and care. They are continually moved to fresh pasture and are not confined. Landmark Harvest uses no antibiotics, growth hormones, vaccinations, pesticides, animal by-products, or grain. Good for the Environment. Our Landmark Management business manages land for improvement of the resources and watershed. The beef herd is managed using Holistic Management™ principles to mimic the movements and actions of wildlife, providing one of the main tools to improve the land, wildlife habitat, and resources, and to maintain productive open space. Landmark Beef is available by advance order in quarters, split halves, and wholes. Our beef is USDA inspected.

Editor’s note
