Kinnikinnick Farm is a diversified, pasture-based 45-acre family farm in Northern Illinois. Our Customers Like to Cook and Love to Eat. We grow, raise, produce, and find the best local food for them. We sell: CHICKEN: whole, parts, ground, sausage, bone broth Brown EGGS: from pastured hens. Whole-steer, Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Ground BEEF Heirloom and Ancient Grains Seasonal Produce. Grown organically. We dropped our organic certification in 2018. Our free-range laying flock is certified by Animal Welfare Approved. Our slow-growing meat chickens are raised on pasture in Range Coops moved daily. Our whole-steer ground beef comes from grass-fed, grass-finished steers we purchase from Dietrich Ranch in Northern Illinois. We also sell a line of unbleached, unbromated heirloom and ancient grains grown and milled by Andrea Hazzard at Hazzard Free Farm in Pecatonica, IL. Our feed is mixed and ground to our specifications every week at a local, family-owned, feed mill. No hormones or antibiotics. The corn and oats are non-GMO. We keep a small herd of dairy goats to provide milk and cheese for our family. The goats help manage our pastures and provide a winter bed pack which we compost in…
