Johnsville Meadows Farm is a 140-acre all-grass farm about an hour from Washington, DC and Baltimore and 20 minutes northwest of Frederick, Maryland. We are the third generation to manage the farm, which has been in the family since 1938. We have been producing premium quality grass fed beef since 1998 and grass fed lamb since 2018. We practice regenerative grazing, a pasture system that utilizes multiple smaller pastures with daily animal movements. This produces healthy nutritious meadows which produce healthy nutritious grass fed meats. We care about how our animals are raised and the quality of the meat they provide. Our animals are 100% pasture raised – spending their entire life on grass.
