Grateful Graze — pasture-raised beef producer in Iowa
The farm

In their words.

Grateful Graze began as a way to provide healthy food from healthy soil to local families. Today we offer 100% grass-fed / grass-finished BEEF, pasture-raised CHICKEN, and timber-raised PORK online. We offer home delivery around our region, pickup locations, and UPS delivery to select zip codes (enter your zip code on our website to find the location nearest you). We have worked for many years to adopt soil-improving Regenerative practices on our family farm in Cambridge, Illinois. Now we are bringing livestock back to the land in the way God designed the soil-plant-animal system to work. We believe that soil health, animal health, and human health are linked together in ways we are just beginning to understand. Our cattle are outside in fields, never eat grain, and move across the land like a herd. They never receive antibiotics, hormones, insecticides, or vaccinations. The chickens are mobile pasture-raised and moved daily. Our open-air mobile hoop house protects them from predators and gives them the shelter and daylight they naturally want. It holds 500 chickens and is pulled onto fresh grass each day, keeping the floor fresh while leaving the “fertilizer” behind. Like the cows…

Editor’s note

Grateful Graze lists grass-fed, grass-finished, pasture-raised, and regenerative on their public-facing materials. These are the producer’s own claims; we do not independently audit them. They ship nationally to the continental US.
