In their words.
At Chaguanas Ranch, cattle are our focus and passion. We operate a small ranch in Fulton County Georgia, producing genetically natural, forage-efficient Wye Black Angus grass-fed and finished beef for discerning customers who appreciate the benefits of beef raised on a corn-free diet, without the use of hormone or antibiotic growth promotants, and on pastures without the use of pesticides or other chemicals. In tune with nature, our animals stay healthy on a natural diet of grass during the growing season and hay (dried grass) during the winter months. We provide them with hand-mixed minerals from the earth (sea salt, kelp, diatomaceous earth, etc.), and water from a well, and rotate them through pastures where they naturally fertilize and mineralize the turf, giving back to the earth. Our beeves have been members of a closed herd since 2004 when we purchased our first bull and heifers. From the beginning, all beeves born and raised at Chaguanas Ranch have grown in a low-stress environment. What becomes meat for our customers, we care for like pets. Available by nature’s timetable, we sell beef for your freezer as standard cuts and ground beef, in either 80-pound beef-in-bulk bundl…
Chaguanas Ranch lists grass-fed on their public-facing materials. These are the producer’s own claims; we do not independently audit them.
