Certified Organic by Stellar Certification Services Sequatchie Cove Farm is a 300 acre community farm located 35 miles from Chattanooga, TN. We are certified organic by Stellar Certification Services, certified biodynamic by Demeter Certification, and our BEEF is certified humane by Animal Welfare Approved Certification. Using holistic management principles along with biodynamic practices, we farm in harmony with nature. Our diversified, multi-enterprize farm is focused on enhancing the health of our animals, our ecosystem, and our rural community. We raise rare-breed American Milking Devon cows for MILK (for cheese) and meat, Large Black and Old Spot heritage breed pigs (PORK) on pasture and forest, and pastured laying hens for EGGS. We have a diverse 2-acre market garden that includes vegetables, berries, herbs, and shiitake mushrooms. Dancing Fern Nursery is also part of the farm and propagates hundreds of southeastern native perennials. We sell all of our products in Chattanooga at the Main Street Farmer's Market (Wednesdays from 4-6pm), and our meats are available daily at Greenlife Grocery (Chattanooga) in the meat department and cafe/deli.
